Modifications, hints, tips and technical information for the 578 868 and 878 radios By Jason Reilly - Rehosted here as a Mirror 2022-10-23

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. As some of you know, I'm not in the best of health - some days it's all I can do to sit & type. Sadly, things will only continue to decline from here, which means I'll no longer be able to take any further active part in maintaining the infamous AnyTone tech webpages.

When I first cobbled together the tech information to form a somewhat coherent webpage, I'd never have guessed it would have ended up having 1.2 million hits, before my ISP pulled all hosting without warning.

I've literally had hundreds of offers to 'mirror' my web site, and I'm very grateful for those who have made this kind gesture - but as you can appreciate from the above, I'm not in much of a position to assist.

Ham radio has enriched my life, some have become my closest friends even though we have never met face to face, and I hope the AnyTone radio family can in some small way do the same for you too. I wish you all well, enjoy every moment to the absolute maximum you can, for life is indeed short.

RIP Jason Reilly
It is with great sadness Jason passed away peacefully this morning with his mother by his side. Our telecoms community has had a big hole left by his departure and I have had great pleasure in working along side him. Good bye J, 73 my friend
